Re-homing/Rescue

Very occasionally I hear of dogs that for no fault of their own need to find another very special home.  If you are interested in taking on an older dog please contact me or the Southern Golden Retriever Rescue

5th December 2008 - Unfortunately, I have had a telephone call asking me to re-home one of my puppies from a litter earlier this year.  If you feel you could cope with a young puppy, please contact me for further details.  She is house-trained and has been attending puppy training classes. She is used to children.  I am obviously devastated by this news and desperately need to see this young lady found a loving new home as soon as possible.

21st December - Update - Puppy has been found a wonderful new home - she has another dog for company so are experienced with the breed. We certainly hope she settles down quickly and really enjoys her new life.  Thank you Maggie for giving her this opportunity of a new start in her short life.

23rd July 2008 - I have had a telephone call today from Brian. He had a puppy from me back in 2002 from Mollie’s 2nd litter - therefore Sophie’s litter sister. Tragically Brian’s wife died suddenly and he now has to move and is unable to take Molly with him.  He is devastated about this and has asked me to try and find a very special home for her. Molly is used to children and a very well behaved dog. According to Brian she is a beautiful girl.

21st August - Update - I am very pleased to say that Molly has found a wonderful new home.  I am hoping her new owners will keep in touch and let me know how she settles in. Thank you everybody who emailed or phoned offering her a home.
