Multi Ch. Xanthos Ardulfe X Cuckmere Players Pride
Introducing the parents....
Dutch
Mia
Xanthos Ardulfe is a young dog owned and bred by Heather Morss. He is a show dog who is also worked. He has had some success in the show ring notably 4th in Puppy Class Crufts 2007. His parents are both Dutch Champions. Not long after the litter was born, Dutch went to live in Lithuania and has had an amazingly successful international career since becoming a Champion in Russia, Lithuania, Belarus and Estonia.
Cuckmere Players Pride is another young bitch whom I have bred. She has now provided me with my 3rd generation of home bred puppies. She is an excellent example of the breed with a superb temperament to match. She has never been keen on the show ring but we have gained the Kennel Club Gold award in obedience together. I am hoping that when she has recovered from this litter and me having time, that we can begin gun-dog training.
Mia and Dutch’s puppies were born between 21.58 - 03.55 on 5th/6th May 2008. She had 6 dog and 5 bitches. They range in weight between 330g - 440g.

Henry - leaving with the Castle family, also from Kent
Alfie - with the Gunsel family. He hasn’t gone too far away - just to Roedean
Chester also didn’t have far to travel to his new home - he’ll be living in Eastbourne with the Cappell family
Another puppy staying close by, Lucy now lives in Stone Cross with the Bendall family
Muffin - preparing for his journey home to Worthing with the Hole family
Evie - she will be making her home in London with the Sprosson family
Misty was the last to leave and therefore spent more time with the big girls - here playing with Great Grandma Mollie
Then being made to lie still when Mollie’s had enough playing - she’s getting too old for boisterous puppies!!
Finally Misty - she will be living with the Harrington family in Norwich
Unfortunately, after only a couple of weeks we were asked to find another home for a puppy as her owners were unable to cope with her. With a new name and family - Tony & Sharon - Loxie has found a wonderful new family to live with as well as another Goldie as a playmate. Thank you Tony & Sharon for giving this special puppy a second chance in her short life.
I do apologise to other owners for not getting photos of you as you were leaving with your puppy - but it is rather an exciting and hectic time.
